Lecture in English
Clinical trials are the most reliable source of evidence of efficacy, safety and cost-effectiveness of non-pharmacological interventions (NPIs) aimed to prevent, care or cure health problems. Their number has increased exponentially since 2000. A major issue to achieve a systematic review is to collect exhaustively trial publications. For example, some relevant journals are not identified in biomedical databases (e.g., PubMed). The lecture will present Motrial www.motrial.fr, the first academic, open access and collaborative meta-search engine that displays the main characteristics of NPI trials and its main publication.
